1. Service Description
YouReader is a browser extension and mobile app that extracts transcripts from YouTube videos and processes them using AI to create organized, readable summaries. By using YouReader, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts & Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old to use YouReader.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- One account per person. Shared accounts may be suspended.
3. Free & Pro Plans
- Free plan: Limited daily transcript processing at no cost.
- Pro plan: Higher limits and priority processing for a monthly subscription fee.
- Plan details and pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.
4. Billing & Payment
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically each billing cycle until cancelled.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the next renewal after the notice period.
5. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account settings (Manage Subscription).
- After cancellation, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
- When your billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.
- There are no cancellation fees.
6. Refund Policy
- If you are unsatisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a refund by contacting us at youreaderapp.com.
- Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of abuse or excessive usage.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful or abusive purpose.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or rate limiting.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service.
- Submit content that violates third-party rights.
8. Intellectual Property
- YouTube video content belongs to its respective creators.
- Processed transcripts are derived from that content and are for your personal use.
- YouReader's software, branding, and design remain our intellectual property.
9. Limitation of Liability
YouReader is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Service Availability
- We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
- AI-generated summaries may contain errors — always verify important information against the original video.

12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
